Mission:

Improving the Quality of Life for Women.

Door of Hope Ministries is a nonprofit, faith-based, organization dedicated to Improving the Quality of Life for Women. Our mission involves offering women help, hope, and healing through Biblically-based teaching, counseling, and education. To help ensure each woman receives the best possible attention and care, we include advocacy assistance through community referrals and supportive services as an integral part of our mission.

There I will give her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor (troubling) to be for her a door of hope and expectation (Hosea 2:15).

Vision:

Door of Hope Ministries envisions women_from all walks of life_harnessing the fullness of life. Rescued, recovered, restored through a comprehensive array of services.

With the direct provision of services and a variety of community partnerships and collaborations, the work of Door of Hope Ministries will be complemented by a holistic approach (care for every aspect of the woman) as an effective means of meeting the individual challenges of each woman we serve.

Statement Of Faith:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, and His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, in His ascension back to the Father's right hand to make intercession for believers, and in His Second Coming to rule and reign in power and glory.

We believe all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, therefore, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is necessary for the salvation of lost man and lost woman, and this miracle is wrought (formed) through simple faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

We believe in Sanctification to be a new quality of life in Christ that commences at the new birth, develops through a growing process, and consummates at the appearing of Christ when all believers will be glorified.

We believe in the present operation of the gifts of the Spirit that are listed in the New Testament and expect and encourage all believers to exercise their spiritual gifts to the edifying of the body of Christ.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved will experience resurrection unto life and glory; the lost will experience resurrection unto eternal death and damnation.

We believe that God provides divine healing for His suffering people in answer to believing prayer; and this healing may be instant, progressive or ultimate healing.
